ANNUAL LECTURE PROGRAM Russian regions achieve their cultural ambitions by building large modern museums, hosting major festivals or biennales. What is the history of the biennial movement in Russia, how much can one artistic residence change, and how do artistic projects make various spaces iconic? The guests of the event will discuss these questions in a dialogue with an initiator of signature cultural projects of the Urals, which have gained international acclaim.
